Silver Show Team Agreement

Thank you for choosing Chagrin Valley Farms Foundation further your riding goals. We are excited to work with you! Please take a moment to give us your information, agree to our terms and conditions, and complete our rider release form

This Riding School Training Agreement (hereafter “Agreement”) is entered into by and between Chagrin Valley Farms Foundation (hereafter “Stable”),  and client, whose contact information is as follows:

1. The Services:

The Silver Show Team program includes access to 2 riding class and 1 unmounted class each week that the stable is open. The riding classes will either be a 30 minute privates, 45 minute semi-private of 2, or a 1 hour group class of 3 or more depending on what your instructor decides is best.  Chagrin Valley Farms Foundation will be closed 4 weeks per year to give the lesson horses a break, allow students to compete at horse shows and not to miss lessons, to run special events, and even to give riding instructors a break.

2. Scheduling:

Students will receive a dedicated time and a day of the week where there will be an appropriate school horse and with a group of riders with similar ability reserved each week.  If Student would like to make a long-term change to his/her dedicated lesson time, he/she may do so a maximum of 1 time in a 90-day period by providing Stable with written notice of Student’s requested change.

3. Client Requirements

Client must show up on time. Client must be wearing proper riding attire- boots with heels, an ASTM/ SEI certified riding helmet, and breeches. Client must be coachable, positive, and have a good attitude.

4. Compensation and Payment Terms

Our tuition price is based on the annual value.  Client will put a credit or debit card on file, and it will be automatically charged the amounts below based on which program and which term they choose.

Silver Show Team: $799 every 4 weeks
Silver Show Team Annually: $10387 $8,829 (Save $1,558 when you prepay for the year)

5. Cancellation
The Silver Show Team Program requires a minimum 6 month commitment. After that, Chagrin Valley Farms Foundation will be operating on a 60 day cancellation notice. Students will be considered to be enrolled for the entire following 60 days following written cancellation notice. We have incredible expenses and financial commitments to be able to offer this program- and we depend on students who can make some commitment- as well as give us plenty of notice if they are quitting so that we have time to pull students in from the waiting list to take their place. There is no reason why a student will not be financially committed for the entire 60 days, even if they are unable to make it to classes.

Students must cancel in writing by sending an email on [email protected] for their cancellation to be valid.

6. Makeup Lesssons

Stable must pay all costs for the number of school horses needed to teach the scheduled lessons. As a result, Stable’s expenses stay the same, regardless of whether the Student’s lesson is taken. Therefore, Stable will offer 2 makeup lessons in the Silver Show Team Program per calendar month provided the client cancels their normal lesson in writing 24 hours prior to the lesson start time. The best way to get the most value out of the program is to make it a priority and a commitment not to miss your dedicated lesson time(s).

7.Horse Show Education Days

During (12/11/26 -12/14/26), (1/15/26 - 1/18/26), (2/12/26 - 2/15/26), and (3/5/26 - 3/8/26) Stable will be operating indoor horse shows. If your regular riding lesson falls on one of those days- it will be automatically substituted as a horse show educational experience day if student decides not to compete that day. However, Silver Show Team members will have the opportunity to compete in the CVF shows at an additional cost. We believe learning how to compete helps students develop resilience and accountability, as well as increase confidence and make friends.

7B. Horse show fees

For students competing at horse shows- they will receive an unmounted class the day before to prepare the horse ($50), extra coaching at the event ($75), and the entries for 1 division at the show ($174) for only $299. (This is a fraction of what most students pay to haul and compete horses). This extra fee will automatically be charged to the card on file.

8.Planned Barn Closures.

Stable will be closed 4 weeks a year: the second week of June, (June 8 -14) the second week of September, (September 7-13), Thanksgiving week (Nov. 23-29), and the third week of December (Dec. 21-17) to give the lesson horses a break, allow students to compete at horse shows, to run special events, and to allow students to plan holidays without missing lessons.

9. No Guarantee and No Refunds

The company does not warrant or guarantee any specific level of performance or results.  The results of your riding program are largely based on the efforts of the student.  There are no refunds for any reason.
